A 1700s store, revitalized and preserved.
A historical treasure updated and modern.
The Treadwell Hale House located in Ipswich, Massachusetts is believed to have been first built as a store in the late 1700's. Much of the original framing, moldings and architectural elements were still present when I began the restoration and remodeling process in 2007. Painstaking care was used to bring life and functionality back into this unique home while preserving and protecting its historical elements. The end result was the coolest project I've ever done and something I feel lucky and proud to have work on.
